The story
San Martin sits on the eastern Andean slopes descending toward the Amazon basin. Once dominated by other crops, it became a major coffee region through cooperative-led reconversion programs. Its warmer, lower valleys yield soft, chocolatey, easy-drinking coffees, with the higher plots offering more structure and sweetness.
