The story
Huila, in Colombia's south, is the country's most awarded specialty region and its single largest producer by volume. Deep river valleys and volcanic soils around Pitalito and Acevedo give bright, complex cups with pronounced fruit and sweetness. Its main harvest falls in the second half of the year, with a lighter fly crop in the spring.
