The story
The Amazonas department, especially the Rodriguez de Mendoza and Bagua valleys, produces some of Peru's most refined high-grown lots. Fertile cloud-forest soils and improving post-harvest practices have pushed several producers into competition-winning territory, with sweet, layered, fruit-forward cups.
